We celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day on Friday. The students participated in a few different centers: an apple chain craft that shows how an apple grows, a seed math game, they weighed and measured apples, read a story about Johnny Appleseed, and tasted green, red, and yellow apples. They voted on their favorite one and graphed it. A big thank you to our three parent volunteers, Gage's mom, Ella's mom, and Joey's mom, for spending the afternoon with us and helping all of our centers to be so successful! Another big thanks to everyone who generously donated apples :)!
